Sensory Play and it´s Importance

1st October 19

Our Early Years Foundation Stage and Primary School have long believed in the benefits of Sensory Play and we strive to make sure that this vital part of learning in encompassed in each child´s day at school.

Sensory play is incredibly beneficial as it not only builds nerve connections in the brain it supports language development, cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving skills and much more. It is also great for enhancing memory and calming an anxious or frustrated child, our pupils were clearly having great fun with their play and we encourage families to continue with this at home.
