Year 1 Plant Trees to Help the Environment

27th May 19

Year 1 children spent the morning with representatives from VAPF and residents from Cumbre del Sol, planting trees in front of the Primary School. VAPF provided the trees and all of the equipment, including gloves and garden trowels. With the help of their teachers, VAPF representatives and Cumbre residents, Year 1 pupils enjoyed digging the holes to plant the trees, and also a circle around the trees for the water. They are very pleased that they are helping the environment and are looking forward to watching the trees grow throughout their time in school.

Thank you to VAPF for organising this activity and also for the hats, bags, water and a small tree which were all given to the children as a gift for helping plant the trees.
