30th January 19
Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed their Geography Field Trip on Tuesday 29 January. They walked from the School to the Benitachell lookout point, stopping to search for human and physical features on the way. When they arrived at the lookout they used binoculars to find some of the land marks, which they had seen on maps in the classroom, and identified which were human features and which were physical features. They used compasses to locate north, south, east and west working out which direction some of the land marks were located. Year 2 also conducted a traffic survey to identify what sort of traffic used the road coming up from Benitachell to the Cumbre del Sol. They enjoyed putting into practise some of the things they had been learning during their Geography lessons in class.
