Key Stage 3 Food Science

Key Stage 3 pupils have been enjoying learning about the importance of a healthy and balanced diet. As a follow up to their theory lessons they have been preparing healthy dishes in their practical lessons. Using fresh ingredients, Year 9 pupils, recently prepared sushi balls with rice, avocado, fresh peas, carrots, smoked salmon, sesame seeds, nori and soya sauce. They also prepared a healthy Italian dish of tomatoes, basil and mozzarella cheese with balsamic vinegar.
