What a fantastic performance from the LES students who competed at such a high level in their first Cross-Country race. The pupils met on Sunday morning at Pinosol Park to participate in the local Cross-Country race organised by the Llebeig Xàbia Club. On a 600 metre circuit, the athletes had to manoeuvre their way around paths between trees and stones. The track was quite technical with lots of bends and varying degrees of slopes. For many of our students it was their first time in a Cross-Country competition. Despite this they showed a very good level both technically and physically. Many of our students won trophies for the events they competed in, however, the most important trophy was the one awarded to the School for having the largest number of participants!
It was a wonderful day with the main highlights being, the great atmosphere among all the participants, the support of the parents of the School, and the organisation work of Maribel Caravaca, Christine Ronda and Isaac Martín.
