Year 3 – Helping to Save the World

11th April 18

As part of their topic, ‘Saving the World’, Year 3 decided to plant a garden in the Primary School. Thanks to the kind donations from parents and the hard work of digging holes in the soil, by children and staff, Year 3 were able to plant a number of different plants and herbs on international forest Day – 21st March. The children would like to continue to care for the garden during their time in the school and are looking forward to seeing it develop and grow over the next few years. It was a great effort and everyone was very happy that they were doing ‘their bit’ to change the environment!

On 26th March year 3 went on an excursion to the Bioparc in Valencia so that they could observe animals form the rainforests. It was an enjoyable day and children returned tired but happy.
