All Year 2 classes ventured out on their first geography field trip to the local viewing point on Cumbre del Sol. All the intrepid explorers were excited and ready to learn about their environment. As soon as they left the familiar surroundings of the school the geographers began learning to identify features on the mountain. Including the new Secondary School building and the changes taking place on the land. Once at the viewing point they looked out across the valley towards Denia and Calpe getting better at categorising the different human and physical features that they could see.
A fantastic and practical geographical learning experience where all children showed improvement in their geographical skills!
