1st December 17
Pupils at the Primary School excelled in an instrumental morning which was held for their parents. Many of them performed for the first time in front of an audience and even though they may have started off a little nervous, they soon overcame the feeling and performed with confidence and professionalism. Parents, staff and other pupils were delighted to hear music students playing a variety of instruments including the saxophone, the clarinet, the cello, the piano, the guitar and the drums. The choir opened and closed the event with beautiful songs about autumn and Halloween. There was also a wonderful solo performance from Lilly and Mrs Glister’s singing group were marvellous in their rendition of ‘When I Grow Up’ from Matilda. Barney’s own ‘School Rap’ was entertaining and very clever. The atmosphere was lovely and the magical rapport between the teachers and the pupils was a pleasure to witness.
Congratulations to all of the performers, their wonderful teachers and a special thank you to Mrs Karen Cobo for organising the morning.
