International Award Walk – Rio Serpis

10th April 17

International Award students enjoyed a Sunday walk along Rio Serpis in further preparation for their Adventurous Journey. The weather was perfect and the walk nice and flat, very different to some of the other walks which have so far been completed by the participants. Even though not particularly challenging, the walk is beautiful following the river along a via verde track, which is an old disused railway line. Pitch black tunnels are part of the walk and students were required to use torches or the torches on their mobiles to navigate the tunnels.

A great day was had by everyone.
