Therapy Dogs Visit PN and Foundation

4th March 17

On Wednesday of Carnaval week, some very special visitors came to see the children from Pre Nursery and Foundation Years. Nala and Banana, two beautiful dogs from the non-profit organisation, ASSISCAN Animal Assisted Therapy, visited the Junior School with their handlers. Nala and Banana do very important work in the community and help with rehabilitation and other forms of therapy. The children learnt about responsible pet ownership and how important it is to care properly for pets. Nala and Banana also demonstrated how clever they are when they are at work and what role they play in rehabilitation and assisting with the patients. It was a pleasure to have Nala and Banana come to the school and we hope to see them again soon.
