Benitachell Police Visit Foundation2

6th November 15

On Thursday 5th November, the three Foundation 2 classes at the Junior School had a special treat.

As part of our topic about “People Who Help Us”, four police officers from Benitachell came to visit and gave them a presentation.

They brought 2 police cars and a police motorbike. The children sat in the cars and had great fun pressing the buttons to make the lights flash and the sirens sound. It was very noisy! We had to cover our ears.

They showed us different equipment which they use such as binoculars, walkie-talkies, bullet-proof vests and different hats and helmets. The children had great fun trying on the helmets and speaking into the walkie-talkies.

We hope the children will enjoy their “Police Station” role play areas in their classrooms even more!
